Scholar Profile

Amanda Watson is a second-year doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in positioning nurses as leaders of care for patients with serious illnesses in the community. Her vision is to promote the use and expansion of nurse-led care models using Implementation Science to improve quality of and access to palliative or "supportive" care outside of the hospital. She is supported by her mentors, Drs. Sarah Kagan and Amanda Bettencourt.
