Charity Lackey Nwogu

Dr. Charity Nwogu (pronounced whoa-goo) (UNC-Chapel Hill ’23) is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science program. Her research interests include the prevalence of mental health disparities, especially among African American women, and her work explores culturally relevant interventions to improve the wellbeing of Black people.
