Grace Russell of Belmont, North Carolina, earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University in 2020. Before returning to her studies, she taught English at a primary school in Thailand as a Fulbright grantee. Grace graduated from the ABSN program at the UNC School of Nursing and is currently enrolled in the PhD program and a member of the tenth cohort of Hillman Scholars. She has a wide variety of interests and plans to focus her research on a topic related to family-centered care or developmental science. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing tennis and pickle ball, and listening to podcasts.
