Kaitlin Best is a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Akiva Cohen at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. There, she studies alterations in circadian rhythm after traumatic brain injury (TBI). She has worked as a Clinical Nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and an Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Her dissertation work examined sedation management and iatrogenic withdrawal syndrome in critically ill children.
