Lilian Guadalupe Bravo is a 2022 graduate of UNC's PhD program in Nursing. She is dedicated to improving mental health care access for marginalized youth. She's received funding from various programs, including the Hillman Scholars Program and NIMH-funded training at the University of Miami. Her current research interests encompass enhancing suicide risk detection and identifying effective mental health service engagement strategies for minority adolescents. Lilian is committed to making a meaningful impact in addressing mental health disparities among vulnerable populations. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, National Latinx Psychological Association, and Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine. In July 2022, she will join the University of California Los Angeles as a National Clinician Scholar. In her spare time, she likes keeping up with new music releases, mentoring, and spending time with her chihuahua, Miguel.
