Whitney Eriksen

Whitney Eriksen's dissertation utilized a mixed-methods approach to understanding to the onset and experience of puberty for girls with autism spectrum disorder compared to typically developing peers. She spent five years as the Senior Research Scientist in the Mixed Methods Research Lab (MMRL) in the Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania where she contracted with researchers across the University to facilitate integration of qualitative and mixed method approaches into their research programs. Following her tenure at the MMRL, she worked with Dr George Demiris in the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing to launch a P30 center grant for PennAITech Collaboratory, overseeing the development of the, as well as the inaugural pilot grant selection and implementation. She completed her MSN in Women’s Health in 2021 at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing and is starting a new career chapter as a WHNP at Jefferson Health in June.
