Matthew Lee, a Penn Hillman Scholar in Nursing Innovation, has been awarded a Hillman Scholar in Nursing Innovation Interdisciplinary Inquiry Fellowship on engagement and retention in virtual spaces. The award recognizes Lee as one of the pioneers of network culture research and an early explorer of virtual space. He is passionate about using the power of serious games to change the world and improve people’s lives. Last month, Lee led the Serious Games Roundtable at the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) and Expo in San Francisco.
