Emilia Flores' research interests include understanding methods to improve the adoption of evidence-based practice at the point of care and identifying the impact of technology on patient safety and the provision of care. In addition, she focuses on how behavioral economics and human factors engineering principles can be used to promote technology acceptance and enhance the quality of health service delivery. She is the Clinical Pathways Program Manager at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She is also Associate Director for Clinical Integration and Knowledge Translation at the Cochrane Affiliate Center and a Jonas Scholar.
