Jessica Marsack is a Clinical Assistant Professor and registered nurse in the general medicine and dialysis unit at the University of Michigan. Her dissertation work focused on the harmful effects of stigma and discrimination on various health outcomes for sexual and gender minority persons. She continues to work with the organization GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality and remains passionate about health outcomes for this underserved population. Her research has also evolved to address issues of environmental sustainability in nursing simulation and education, as well as improving nursing education through the use of simulation globally.
